Established in 1993, PAG is a group of town and environmental planners committed towards planning a better living environment. PAG is an acronym for Planning Advisory Group. Members of the firm and its associates, have extensive experience in development planning work having taken on both local and international consultancy assignments. The firm is a body corporate and is registered with The Malaysian Institute of Planners and the Ministry of Finance Malaysia. With the expansion of work, the firm was corporatized in 1995 as PAG Consult Sdn. Bhd.

EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

PHILIPOSE studied Urban and Regional Planning at The Universiti Teknologi Malaysia and was awarded a Bachelor of Urban and Regional Planning with Honours in 1981. He obtained a Certificate in Project Planning and Management from INTAN in 1985. He later pursued Post-Graduate Diploma Studies  in Regional Development, Planning and Management at the University of   Dortmund, Germany in 1987. He subsequently read law and obtained a Bachelor of Laws with Honours from the University of London and the Certificate of Legal Practice.

He has worked as a Town Planner in the Federal Department of Town and Country Planning under the Ministry of Housing and Local Government from 1981 to 1993. During his tenure with the department, he was involved in Master Planning studies and development planning projects in the states of Johor, Kedah, Perak, Melaka, Selangor and Kuala Lumpur.

He went on to establish PAG Consult, a firm specializing in town and environmental planning. He has undertaken layout planning for mixed development projects and structure/local plans for various municipalities including environmental and transportation projects.

He is a Fellow member of the Malaysian Institute Of Planners and was the Honourary Secretary of the Institute from 1989 to 1991 and a Council Member of the Institute from  1991 to 1993.

Philipose has attended several courses, workshops and conferences organized by INTAN, Malaysian Institute of Planners, Department of Environment and JICA-DTCP and presented papers at both international and local conferences.

DIRECTOR

MAHESAN is a Consultant Town Planner and Director of PAG Consult Sdn. Bhd. He brings with him several years of experience in town planning  having served with the Federal Department of Town Planning as the Deputy Director General. He holds                professional degrees in town planning and engineering.  He has worked in  several capacities as Assistant Commissioner  with the Federal Department of Town Planning, State Director of Town Planning  (Negeri Sembilan and Melaka) and as Project Manager  in the Kuala Lumpur Master Plan Unit.

Mahesan has also written professional articles on town planning  which is featured regularly in town planning journals and has presented papers at both local and international seminars.

Mahesan has also been active in the professional institution and has been the past president of the Malaysian Institute of Planners and the chairman of the Malaysian Professional Center

DIRECTOR /LANDSCAPE ARCHITECT

MOHD AFANDI MUSTAFA pursued his education in Landscape Design at the Institute of Technology Mara from January 1991 to November 1993 and was awarded a Diploma in Landscape Design in 1993. As a Landscape Designer, he was involved in projects such as Radissons Tanjung Rhu Resort Development, Pulau Langkawi, Bandar Baru Klang Mixed Development Project, Klang and Genting View Resort Development. 

He continued his studies at the Leeds Metropolitan University in United Kingdom from September 1995 to July 1997 and was awarded a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture with Honours. Upon returning to Malaysia, in September 1997, he practised as a Landscape Architect.  He carried out several projects such as Landscape Proposals for the Parcel C - Development, Putrajaya, Landscape Proposal for the Parcel D - Development, Putrajaya, Landscape Proposal for Wisma Putra and IDHL Development, Putrajaya, Landscape Proposal for a Mixed Development project for Bukit Hitam Development, Bandar Bukit Puchong, Selangor and  Seremban Lake Garden, Negeri Sembilan.

Since May 1998 he has worked with PAG Consult Sdn Bhd as a Landscape Architect and is responsible for leading several landscape projects such as Taman Selatan Cemetery Park project in Putrajaya, Landscape studies for the Putrajaya Main Nursery and the Challenge Park for X-Games in Putrajaya.

He is also a Corporate Member of the Institute of Landscape Architects Malaysia (ILAM).
